MOST FAMOUS LIGHTHOUSE IN THE WORLD? LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN!
When I say this is the most iconic Lighthouse, I'm not even exaggerating. In fact, I am probably under exaggerating. Even growing up in Los Angeles, California I envisionsed this is what the entire state of Maine looked like.... AND boy was I correct. My move here 2 years ago (wow I can't even believe it!) was one of those bucket list checks offs that will last longer than a skydive jumping experience. In fact, (can I even start a sentence with that two times in one paragraph?) my move to Portland was pretty much a giant leap of faith in itself.
This photo took me a while to get (about 7 trips to find the right day, right time and right weather) as I had to jump a fence, and hike down a couple cliffs and stand on the slippery ocean grass to find the right leading lines to draw you into the lighthouse. Im thinking about making a limited run of hangablel artwork and postcards out of this image, so if you think you would like to send out some postcards to friends/family outside of the state, or people gift a local client with a postcard.
